Marc Guéhi scored a dramatic late winner to give Crystal Palace a 2-1 victory over Fulham, pushing Oliver Glasner’s side into the Premier League’s top four and extending Marco Silva’s frustration against Palace. It was the third time this year Fulham have fallen to Glasner’s team, despite a spirited display and a spectacular equaliser from Harry Wilson.
Eddie Nketiah put Palace ahead in the first half with a sharp finish after Adam Wharton carved open the defence. Fulham responded with Wilson’s brilliant outside-of-the-boot strike following a slick one-two with Raúl Jiménez. Both sides created chances — Smith Rowe was denied by a superb Dean Henderson save — but neither could find a breakthrough until the closing stages.
With the match drifting toward a draw, Guéhi met a near-post corner in the final minutes, powering in the header that sent the away end into chaos. The win marks Palace’s ninth in their last 10 league games and strengthens belief in Glasner’s growing project.
Silva lamented missed opportunities and lack of cutting edge, warning his side must show more resilience as they risk being dragged into trouble. Palace, meanwhile, continue to defy expectations despite injury setbacks and a heavy schedule, and now sit firmly among the league’s early high-flyers.
